Operations audit

One to three days of work, depending on the size of the company. We go through where data enters the company and where it gets retyped by hand:

  • Remote by default, on site by arrangement.
  • A written report that stays yours.
  • You know the price beforehand, not after.

Starts at €600. If you decide to go ahead with deployment, the audit fee comes off it.

What an operations audit is

We don't do free audits.

Someone who pays to learn the truth about their own company also acts on it. A free audit isn't an audit, it's a sales meeting. We put one to three days of work into it and we also write down what we don't recommend you do — and that can't be written for free.

It isn't a survey and it isn't a presentation. We go through how the company actually runs: where data enters it, where someone retypes it from one place to another, and how many hours a month that costs.

We connect to what you have. We won't be changing your accounting software, and if a new system isn't worth it, we write that in the report.

from €600

A smaller company is one day of work, a larger one two to three; which it is, we say beforehand, not after.

The audit fee comes off the deployment, if you decide to go ahead.

The deployment price we give only after the audit, in writing and final. Deployment and the monthly fee for running it are always two separate line items, so you know what you pay once and what you pay every month.

We stand behind the report even if you go no further with us.

What you get on paper

The report stays yours, even if you go no further with us. It's a document, not a quote — five things you can read for yourself once we've gone.

The audit report

  1. Where data enters the company and where it gets retyped by hand.
  2. How many of those places there are and how many hours a month they cost.
  3. What can be removed, and in what order, so that the first step pays for the second.
  4. What it will cost and what it will save.
  5. What we don't recommend doing, and why.

How it goes

Five steps. The first is the form below, the last is your decision.

  1. You get in touch

You fill in the form below or you call. The founder reads it, not an inbox somebody checks now and then. We'll write back with whether we can solve it, or that we can't.

  2. We agree the scope and the price

A smaller company is one day of work, a larger one two to three. Which it is, we say beforehand, not after. We set the date once the price is agreed.

  3. We go through the company with you

Remote by default, on site by arrangement. We go through the systems you use today — accounting, the shop, stock, email — and the places where things get retyped between them.

  4. You get a written report

The five points above, on paper. It stays yours and we stand behind what's in it, even if we go no further together.

  5. You decide

If you go ahead with deployment, the audit fee comes off it and we go through your specific configuration before signing. If you don't, we part ways and the report stays with you.

Who this isn't for

We'd rather say it now than have us both spend a month on it. We're not for you if:

  1. You're after the cheapest quote. We won't be the cheapest.
  2. You want software, but nothing to change about the way you work. A system that copies chaos is more expensive chaos.
  3. The owner or a director won't be part of it. Without someone who can decide, it dies in the third week.
  4. You're five people or fewer. At that size Excel really is cheaper, and we'll say so straight.
  5. You want marketing, advertising or social media. We don't do it.
  6. You need it within two weeks. We won't promise a date we can't keep.

How to reach us

You're writing to the founder directly.

Fill in the form below or call. We answer within two working days — including when the answer is no.

It helps if you say in the message what the company does, how many of you there are and which systems you use today: accounting, the shop, stock. That's enough, we'll go through the rest together.

Got it. Your enquiry went straight into our own system, not into an inbox where it would wait to be retyped. We'll be in touch within two working days.

The form doesn't go to an inbox. It lands straight in the system we build for clients — this website is its first user.
