The short version

This website is a business card and you can't buy anything on it. An order comes into existence only through a separate written contract. The files available to download are a demonstration using invented data. The text and the mark are ours; the code we build for a client belongs to the client.

1. Who operates this website

Supervisory authority: the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority, Inspectorate for the Prešov Region, Obrancov mieru 6, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia.

2. What this website is and is not

The content on stenvard.com is for information. It is not an offer to enter into a contract nor a binding quotation within the meaning of § 43a of the Slovak Civil Code. Scope, price and timing come into existence only after the initial audit and are the subject of a separate written contract.

There are deliberately no prices on this website. That is not an omission. The price depends on what a company already has, and an invented figure would help nobody.

3. Files available to download

On the site we offer a sample report (ukazka-report.pdf) and a verifier (overit.py) to download. For these the following applies:

• The report contains invented data. A fictitious company, fictitious people, invented records. It contains no client data and no data about real people.
• The verifier sends nothing. It runs entirely on your machine, opens no network connection and contains no telemetry. The source code is readable and short precisely so that this can be checked.
• Both files are provided “as is”, for demonstration purposes, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. You are free to use, modify and distribute the verifier.

4. Intellectual property

The texts, the design and the STENV▲RD mark on this website are protected by copyright. The author is Norbert Kovalčín; STENVARD s. r. o. uses them under licence. Please do not copy them or use them for your own promotion without our consent.

For client work the opposite applies, and that is deliberate: the work we build for a client passes to the client on payment, to the extent agreed in the contract. You are not renting your own company. The detail is settled in the contract for the specific engagement, including what remains our product and what is the client's bespoke work.

The names Kovrin and Conseto denote our own products. The other names mentioned, in particular POHODA (STORMWARE s. r. o.) and the names of tools in comparisons, are trade marks of their respective owners and we mention them solely for the purpose of description and comparison. We are in no way connected with them and we do not claim that they endorse us.

5. Comparative statements

Where stenvard.com compares our own solution with other tools — for example support for the POHODA accounting system or for Slovak banks — we rely on the publicly available integration lists published by their operators as at the date shown with the comparison. A dash means that the integration in question is not listed there; we do not claim that it is technically impossible.

If you find that something has changed in the meantime, write to us and we will correct it. A website that stands on proof cannot afford to leave an untruth on itself.

6. Liability

We do our best to keep the content accurate and current, but we are not liable for loss arising from a decision taken solely on the basis of information on this website. We are not responsible for the content of the pages we link to.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of this website. It is a business card, not a service.

7. Governing law

These terms and all relations arising from them are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction over any disputes. This English text is a translation provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the Slovak version at stenvard.com/podmienky prevails.

8. Changes

We may change these terms; a new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Contracts already concluded are unaffected by the change.
